Lecture: Women in Focus

Despite evidence of women’s contributions to European cinema since its inception, women remain sidelined in European cinema heritage. In this talk, Sarah Arnold discusses the ways in which women are made invisible in film production, film reception and criticism, and film studies, while indicating successful efforts to reinstate their place in its history.
